Cooling tower lighting, also known as external beautification of the cooling tower, forms a beautiful appearance on the outside through color painting. Basically, the lighting work mainly highlights two points.
1. The tower itself has been exposed to wind and sun for a long time, resulting in external corrosion or cracking and aging. Therefore, we need to repair the external components of the tower through beautification. Secondly, we need to beautify the exterior to form a corresponding color with the surrounding environment and improve the surrounding environment, especially when standing on the lost cooling tower.
2. By beautifying the exterior while also conducting anti-corrosion construction treatment on the surface of the tower, the cooling tower's long-term use, whether in the external natural environment or internal high-temperature corrosion and flue gas corrosion, will cause damage to the tower and reduce its service life. Therefore, we not only need to perform internal anti-corrosion construction treatment, but also external lighting treatment.
The following three points are particularly important in the construction of lighting in cold areas, and we need to take preventive measures in advance.
1. High altitude work is first and foremost a safety issue. On the one hand, it is the safety of operators, and secondly, it is the prevention of falling objects from high altitude. Personnel should take good measures to protect themselves from high altitude, and the knowledge of safety belts must be understood. The warning lines below the work must also be in place to prevent accidents when personnel move around.
2. To avoid the occurrence of fires, most of the materials used in the operation are flammable. During the storage and use process, the first step is to separate them from open flames and high temperatures. Furthermore, the surrounding area should be well prepared for the occurrence of fires.
3. To prevent gas poisoning, attention should be paid to the smoke poisoning incident during tower top operation, as well as the toxic gas existing in the paint and materials during construction. Therefore, Gas mask, or masks and eye masks should be equipped when possible during construction.
